Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of HTMLtoURL, including htmltourl.com, dev.htmltourl.com, htmltourl.app, live.htmltourl.com, and related pages, APIs, and account services (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.

The Service

HTMLtoURL lets you preview and publish supported HTML content as a browser-accessible URL. Depending on rollout status, account eligibility, and plan, the Service may let you:

• Paste HTML code or upload an HTML or HTM file.
• Upload an eligible ZIP package containing index.html and supported site files.
• Publish a Temporary URL without an account or publish an Editable URL through an account.
• Update the files at the same Editable URL, choose an eligible custom htmltourl.app label, view traffic summaries, and delete your URL.
• Extend one Temporary URL through a one-time purchase.
• Subscribe for additional Editable URLs, removal of HTMLtoURL branding, and eligible features such as password protection.

Availability, limits, and rollout status may differ between development and production environments. The checkout page and current product interface state the features included in a purchase.

HTMLtoURL is a static-content publishing service. It is not a full application backend, private document vault, guaranteed archive, professional development environment, or high-availability production hosting service.

URL Types and Lifecycle

Temporary URLs

A newly published Temporary URL is normally available online for 1 hour. It can normally be restored or extended during a 30-day recovery period after expiration, unless the content was deleted, blocked, already purged, or must remain unavailable for security or legal reasons.

A one-time extension applies only to the specified URL and adds the duration shown at checkout. It does not convert the URL into an Editable URL, create an account-wide subscription, or make the URL permanent.

Editable URLs

Editable URLs require an account and can be updated at the same URL while they remain eligible for editing. The Free plan currently includes one Editable URL with no fixed expiration while its free entitlement remains active. Paid subscriptions currently provide the URL allowance and features displayed at checkout.

Subscription coverage follows the paid subscription period. Cancellation, expiration, downgrade, or a reduction in URL allowance may remove edit access or paid features from URLs outside the remaining allowance. Affected URLs may receive a 7-day grace period and then enter the current recovery lifecycle. Fixed-term Editable URL content may be retained for up to 60 days after the applicable expiration or qualifying last visit under the current lifecycle rules. A visit may move the recovery deadline but does not extend the paid online period.

No statement such as "no fixed expiration" or a displayed recovery date is a guarantee that the Service, a plan, or any URL will exist forever. We may change prospective free-service policies with reasonable notice, and we may restrict content under these Terms at any time.

Accounts

Some features require an account. New account methods may be limited to the sign-in providers currently offered. You must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorized access.

You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for maintaining access to the email address or identity provider connected to it. An account does not automatically claim every URL created in the same browser. Anonymous URLs can be saved only through the specific ownership and promotion flow provided by the Service.

You must meet the minimum age required to form a binding agreement in your location. If you use the Service on behalf of a minor or organization, you are responsible for having the necessary authority and permissions.

User Content and License

You retain the rights you have in the HTML, text, images, scripts, styles, files, and other content you submit ("User Content"). You grant HTMLtoURL a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, validate, scan, transform for safe delivery, review, reproduce, cache, transmit, display, and otherwise process User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Service, enforce these Terms, and comply with law.

You confirm that you have all rights and permissions needed to upload, process, publish, and share the User Content and its external resources. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and consequences of your content and for notices or consents required from people whose information appears in it.

Keep your own source files and backups. HTMLtoURL must not be your only copy of important content.

Public URLs and Password Protection

URLs are public by default. Anyone who obtains a public URL may view, copy, download, screenshot, cache, or forward it. noindex and nofollow reduce search-engine discovery but do not make a URL private.

Eligible paid Editable URLs may support password protection. You are responsible for choosing and sharing the access password safely. Password protection is an access gate, not end-to-end encryption, digital-rights management, or a guarantee that an authorized visitor cannot copy or redistribute content. Do not publish passwords, API keys, private keys, payment-card data, regulated records, or unnecessary confidential information.

User Content can load third-party images, fonts, scripts, APIs, frames, links, and other resources. Those resources may collect visitor data, change, fail, or introduce their own terms and risks. You are responsible for them and must not misrepresent third-party tracking as being operated by HTMLtoURL.

Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to:

• Publish or distribute illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, infringing, harassing, hateful, violent, sexually exploitative, privacy-invasive, or otherwise harmful content.
• Create phishing pages, fake sign-in or payment pages, credential or wallet-secret collection, brand impersonation, scams, malicious downloads, or sensitive-data exfiltration.
• Attack, scan, interfere with, overload, disable, or gain unauthorized access to devices, accounts, networks, infrastructure, or services.
• Violate copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, trade-secret, export-control, or other rights or laws.
• Bypass authentication, password gates, ownership checks, moderation, rate limits, URL allowances, payment flows, recovery rules, or other technical restrictions.
• Use automated means in a way that creates unreasonable load, scrapes protected data, generates spam, or interferes with other users.
• Use HTMLtoURL as unlawful storage, a malware or file-distribution service, an SEO spam network, a mirror, or infrastructure for production workloads the Service is not designed to support.

You may perform legitimate security testing only on content and systems you own or are expressly authorized to test, and only in a way that does not target HTMLtoURL or other people.

Content Review, Reports, and Removal

We use deterministic rules and automated AI-assisted classification to identify prohibited or risky content. A submission may be published immediately, placed under review, blocked, or marked as review failed. We may also investigate reports and act manually.

We may reject, restrict, disable, remove, refuse to restore, or preserve evidence relating to User Content when we reasonably believe it violates these Terms or law, infringes rights, threatens security, creates liability, or could harm people, the Service, or third parties. Urgent abuse or security action may occur without advance notice.

To report illegal, infringing, phishing, or otherwise harmful content, email support@htmltourl.com with the exact URL, the reason for the report, relevant evidence, and your contact information. Submit reports in good faith. We may ask for additional information and may share an appropriate explanation with the affected publisher.

If we restrict your content, we may provide the reason and available review path unless doing so would create a security risk, violate law, compromise an investigation, or expose another person's information. You may request review by contacting support@htmltourl.com with the affected URL and relevant context. Repeated or serious violations may result in account suspension or termination.

Payments, Renewals, Cancellation, and Refunds

The price, currency, billing period, URL allowance, features, and payment provider shown at checkout form part of your purchase terms. Taxes may be added or handled by the payment provider where applicable.

One-time URL extensions are charged once and apply only to the URL and duration selected at checkout.

Monthly and annual Editable URL plans are recurring subscriptions unless checkout clearly states otherwise. By subscribing, you authorize the selected payment provider to charge the applicable price and taxes at the beginning of each billing period until cancellation. You can cancel through the HTMLtoURL billing page or the provider billing portal made available for the subscription. Cancellation normally stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless the provider or applicable law requires otherwise.

Canceling or losing subscription coverage does not convert paid URLs into permanent free URLs. The remaining URL allowance, grace periods, recovery rules, branding, edit access, custom labels, and password-protection eligibility are determined by the active entitlement and current product rules.

Except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout, delivered digital services and activated URL extensions are non-refundable. Contact support promptly if you believe you were charged incorrectly. Refunds, reversals, disputes, or chargebacks may remove the related entitlement to the extent permitted by law.

We may change prices or plan contents prospectively. Changes do not alter a completed one-time purchase and will not apply to a subscription period already paid, unless required by law. We will provide notice of material recurring-price changes where required.

Service Availability and Changes

We aim to operate the Service reliably, but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or lossless operation. Maintenance, capacity limits, network failures, third-party providers, moderation queues, security incidents, abuse, and events outside our reasonable control may affect availability.

We may add, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features. When a change materially affects an active paid service, we will use reasonable efforts to provide notice or an appropriate remedy where required by law.

Account and URL Deletion

You may delete eligible URLs through the available account controls. Deletion starts a storage-cleanup process and may not immediately remove backups, caches, security evidence, payment records, or information we are legally required to retain.

You may request account deletion by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate an account or URL for violation of these Terms, risk to the Service, nonpayment, legal requirement, or prolonged unavailability of a required provider. Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including payment obligations, licenses needed for cleanup, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute-related provisions—continue to apply.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, interface, design, documentation, trademarks, and branding, is owned by HTMLtoURL or its licensors. Except as allowed by law, you may not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, interfere with, or falsely represent the Service or its branding. These Terms do not transfer ownership of your User Content to us.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, accuracy, and data preservation. We do not warrant the legality or safety of User Content or the continued availability of external resources.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some exclusions may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be waived.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HTMLtoURL and its operators, personnel, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, lost profits, loss of data, business interruption, or third-party claims arising from or related to the Service.

These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited. You may have mandatory consumer rights that vary by location.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HTMLtoURL and its operators, personnel, and service providers from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your User Content, your unlawful use of the Service, your material violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights. This section does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by HTMLtoURL's own unlawful conduct.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service or legal requirements change. The updated_at date identifies the latest revision. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice through the Service or another appropriate channel where required. Changes apply prospectively from their effective date; continued use after that date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
